International Developmental Biology course, CIMARQ-Quintay-Chile

Developmental Biology course open to Latin American and International applicants.
The faculty, who include Olivier Pourquie, Nipam Patel, Claudio Stern, John Wallingford, Mary Mullins, Alejandro Sanchez-Alvarado, Andrea Streit, among others, will teach hands-on the paradigms, problems and technologies of modern Developmental Biology. The course will start with a plenary lecture by Scott Gilbert about the history and concepts in Developmental Biology.
The course will take place in the southern hemisphere summer (5 Р17 January 2014), in the beautiful fishing village of Quintay-Chile, at the Centre for Marine Biological Research (CIMARQ).  The course is intended for Latin American and non-Latin American applicants. Fellowships will be available.
