The Royal Institution CHRISTMAS LECTURES® series 2013 was presented by Alison Woollard, a developmental biologist working in the Biochemistry Department, University of Oxford who studies the development of the nematode worm Caenorhabditis elegans. The three-part series called Life Fantastic is available to watch on-line.

Registrations for the international summer course held at Institut Pasteur have been extended to April 1st, 2014. This two-week course combines lectures and practical sessions on leading edge technologies and questions in stem cells biology in the context of organogenesis and regeneration in variety of organisms. The CHRISTMAS LECTURES^® theme  changes every year and are delivered by an expert in their field. This  years lectures will be presented by Alison Woollard, a developmental biologist working in the Biochemistry Department, University of Oxford who studies the development of the nematode worm Caenorhabditis elegans. She will present the demonstration packed, three-part series called Life Fantastic which will air on BBC Four 14, 17 and 19 December 2013.
